Recently, Bobblehead Design Works had an opportunity to help out the Kensington Heights Civic Association with a logo redesign, and possibly a website refresh. The KHCA had put out a call, asking for people to help them with various aspects of the association; knowing our strengths, we offered our design services.

The KHCA's logo was thrown together years ago, using some clip art someone had found. It had not aged well. Since Kensington Heights was incorporated sometime around 1890, we wanted the new logo to reflect that history while still retaining a contemporary feel. Type was set using Trend Slab One, and a new logomark was created. The new single-color logo is clean, adaptable, and makes for a clearly legible wordmark as well.

Other graphics were created: Social media avatars, bumper sticker logos, and a work-in-progress seal. The KHCA is very happy with the end results, and are excited to move forward with a redesign of their existing website - stay tuned for that!
